MIND Announces Availability of Call Accounting Solution For Cisco Call Manager

MIND, a worldwide provider of call accounting solutions for the enterprise, today announced the availability of the MIND PhonEX Call Accounting system for use with the Cisco CallManager. Cisco CallManager, the call-processing software component of Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data), extends enterprise telephony features and functions to packet telephony network devices such as IP phones, software phones and voice over IP (VoIP) gateways.

The MIND PhonEX Call Accounting System, and MIND’s other integrated telemanagement products are considered cutting-edge in performance, reliability and ease of use. Multi-lingual MIND PhonEX is distributed in over fifteen countries and installed at thousands of customer locations. MIND PhonEX Web gives users the ability to operate the system from any client in the corporate network.

Cisco’s call processing platform keeps track of all IP generated phone calls and provides an open interface for integrating this data in accounting applications such as the MIND PhonEX Call Accounting solution,” said Bill Erdman, director of marketing within Cisco’s Enterprise Voice Business Unit. “One of the nice benefits of the MIND PhonEX solution is the ability to customize reports from the call detail records within the call processing platform and to easily distribute these reports across the same IP infrastructure that the calls were generated on.”

Users are able to generate up-to-the-minute reports on their organizations’ telephone use, allowing them to manage their telecom resources effectively. As MIND PhonEX is a multi-currency and Euro compliant product, reports can be produced in both local currency and Euro. The powerful Query Generator lets users instantly generate customized reports and graphs and perform comparative call analysis. Reports can be scheduled and automatically produced, distributed by E-mail, posted on the Web and printed.
